ITI and Straumann - an important and successful partnership
The International Team for Implantology (ITI) is an independent medical and scientific network of internationally renowned specialists from a wide range of fields who research, teach and practise leading-edge science. It unites dentists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, biologists, biochemists, metallurgists, physicists and dental technicians, who share the goal of advancing techniques and treatment options in implant dentistry and related tissue regeneration for the well-being of patients.
The ITI Foundation was established in 1980 by 12 visionary founding members to promote research, development and professional training in implant dentistry and related fields. The ITI continues to expand and currently includes over 680 fellows and more than 7000 members. Its 23 sections around the world ensure that the ITI treatment methods are accessible to a wide range of professionals in courses, meetings and congresses.
