Customized implant prosthetics with Straumann® CARES, the new Computer Aided REstoration Service
Straumann and Sirona have joined forces to bring you Straumann® CARES. It offers you customized implant prosthetics for the Straumann® Dental Implant System.
The CARES service comprises customized synOcta® prosthetic components (Custom Abutments) made of titanium and ceramic for Regular Neck implants (RN Ø = 4.8 mm), with which cement-retained superstructures can be produced.
The dental laboratory records the implant position from the model and designs the abutment. The use of Sirona products, which are proven to be successful for Straumann® CARES, ensures that these procedures are as simple and efficient as possible.
The Custom Abutments are fabricated at the Straumann production center on the basis of the design data transmitted via the Straumann® CARES Shop or the infiniDent web portal. Just a few working days after an order is placed, the abutment, fabricated to the extremely high level of precision and quality offered by the Straumann® Dental Implant System, and the required screw are sent to the dental laboratory (customer) by courier.
