Straumann® Bone Level Implants

Straumann Bone Level Implant

Straumann expertise applied at bone level

The Straumann® Bone Level Implant

  • provides surgical and restorative simplicity in all indications
  • confirms secure component positioning
  • supports bone preservation for predictable esthetic results

The Straumann® Bone Level Implant portfolio includes the three standard endosteal diameters for Straumann® implants (3.3 mm, 4.1 mm, and 4.8 mm) and is available in the lengths 8, 10, 12, and 14 mm.

Straumann® Bone Level Implants have a cylindrical outer contour. The core is cylindrical in the apical region, becoming slightly conical in the coronal part of the implant leading to a mild taper. The implant features a thread to the top (identical thread as on Straumann® Tapered Effect Implants) for extensive interlocking with the bone. This design provides excellent primary stability in all indications.

CrossFitTM Verbindung

CrossFit Connection

Straumann® Bone Level implants feature the CrossFitTM Connection, applying the know-how and benefits from the Morse Taper connection to the needs of a connection located at bone level. The self-guiding internal prosthetic connection has an optimized design for long-term mechanical stability under all loading conditions and ensures an exact fit between implant and abutment. The internal cone of 15° stands for greater flexibility in prosthetic treatments. Four internal grooves ensure the precise positioning of prosthetic components.

Straumann® Bone Level Ø 4,1 mm and Ø 4,8 mm implants have the same connection, the Regular CrossFitTM Connection (RC) and use the same secondary components. Bone Level Ø 3,3 mm implants feature the Narrow CrossFitTM Connection (NC). The corresponding secondary components are color-coded. Magenta stands for the RC connection whereas yellow codes the NC connection.
