Standardized procedure The surgical procedure is virtually identical for all implant lines of the Straumann Dental Implant System. A small range of instruments suffices for all surgical and prosthetic applications.

(Exception: no thread-tapping with TE implants)
1 SCS screw system Screw Carrying System: self-holding screw head system (torque principle) to prevent aspiration, only one screwdriver required
2 Insertion instruments and screwdrivers with ratchet head Exact transmission and control of force when used with the ratchet and torque control device.

3 Osteotomes Instruments corresponding to the implant diameter for sinus floor elevation or bone condensation.
